Subject: support the Innocence Protection Act

Dear Senator Kerry  
 
I hope that you'll support the Innocence Protection Act.  This bill would
ensure that every person tried for a capital crime has a competent and
experienced attorney, and would give persons sentenced to death the right to   
DNA testing of evidence which might exonerate them.  These common-sense
safeguards are all too often neglected by the current system.
