You have now twice bombed Red Cross warehouses in Kabul. According to reports by the Associated Press, these aid facilities had been clearly marked with large red crosses on their roofs. In addition to this direct damage, your bombing campaign is taking an even greater toll in indirect casualties: because food supply trucks cannot get through to Afghanistan, millions of Afghan civilians are at risk of starvation. Christian Aid and other humanitarian groups have repeatedly called for a cessation or at least a pause in the bombing campaign in order to allow food trucks through before the winter begins. I urge you to heed that call. Matthew Belmonte
