Subject: support the Mental Health Equitable Treatment Act

Dear Representative Capuano
 
I'm writing to thank you for your continuing support of the Mental Health
Equitable Treatment Act, and to express my hope that you'll be able to rally
your colleagues in the House to support this important legislation.  As you
know, the Congressional Budget Office estimates that passage of this
legislation would increase insurance premiums by less than one percent.  There
is no scientific or medical justification for placing insurance coverage for
diseases of the brain on different terms and conditions than other diseases.
