Regarding my previous email on the Lieberman-Daschle amendment, I am
disappointed that you chose to spend today on holiday in Paris instead of
voting on this crucial issue in the senate.  The amendment failed on a 52 to
47 vote.  Your vote and those of a couple of other moderates could have made
the difference.
