Dear Mrs Campbell

I hope that you'll add your signature to Early Day Motion 300, which summarises
credible findings of the United States' past sales of biological warfare agents
to Iraq and requests that the Government make a complaint to the UN Security
Council regarding these sales.  Article III of the Convention on the
Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological
(Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction prohibits signatories
from transferring such agents to any recipient.  By violating the Convention,
the United States contributed to the conditions that produced a rationale for
the current war in Iraq -- a war that continues to place British troops at risk
and to consume British resources.  Especially after having become the major
champion of a war against Iraq, the United States must be held to account for
its material support of Iraq's past weapons programmes.
