Friday 20th of February 2004 Dear Anne Campbell MP On Wednesday 25 February both Houses of Parliament will be asked to approve the law that allows the imprisonment, without charge, or trial, of terrorist suspects. 14 men are currently held in Belmarsh - Britain's very own Guantanamo Bay. If the Government wins the vote they will be held there indefinitely. I urge you to vote against the Home Secretary and deny him the power to detain people not charged with any offence. Sincerely, Matthew Belmonte [address]
