I urge you to join Representative Conyers in challenging the presidential electoral votes from the state of Ohio. Although none of us seriously expect that such a challenge would result in the electoral outcome's being overturned, that isn't the point. The point is that Congress needs to illuminate the serious voting rights concerns that have arisen in this election and in the previous presidential election. Voting hardware needs to be deployed equitably amongst all precincts, provisional ballots need to be distributed and counted, and electronic voting systems need to have a tamper-proof audit trail. Challenging Ohio's electoral votes will finally force these issues onto the table.
