Thank you for co-sponsoring S.342, the Climate Stewardship Act.  As you
know, this bill is would provide for scientific study of the nature and
extent of human-engendered climate change, and would establish am efficient,
market-based system of emissions trading in order to reduce greenhouse-gas
emissions.  Climate change is a phenomenon that affects all of us, and
creating a national market for emissions credits is a proven strategy to
help address such problems of global reach.
