I hope that you'll oppose HR 2093, a bill to amend the Lobbying Disclosure
Act which would impose significant burdens of regulation on grassroots
organisations that are attempting to influence individual members of the public
to lobby their representatives.  Such individual involvement in the political
process should be encouraged, and not hamstrung by regulation.  The Lobbying
Disclosure Act was meant to regulate lobbying by large organisations, not
lobbying by individuals who receive alerts and information from grassroots
organisations.
