I hope that you'll support HR 3835, the American Freedom Agenda Act.  This
straightforward, three-page bill would repeal the Military Commissions Act
2006, restore the writ of habeas corpus, ban extraordinary rendition, codify
freedom of the press to publish leaked secrets, limit presidential discretion
in the observance of law, and limit the use of secret evidence.  The time for
these restorations of fundamental human rights and limits on executive power is
long overdue.
