I hope that you'll support and consider co-sponsoring HR 3189, the National
Security Letters Reform Act.  This important bill would partially reinstate
judicial review, by requiring subpoenas in cases of demands for highly personal
records.  In addition, it would deter the FBI and other federal agencies from
abusing the practice of National Security Letters, by imposing civil penalties
for unlawful NSL demands.  HR 3189 is an important step towards bringing the
United States out of totalitarianism and into the free world.
