Pete Hoekstra, ranking Republican member of the House Permanent Select
Committee on Intelligence, called last month for criminal investigation into
whether the Central Intelligence Agency lied to Congress and withheld facts
from the Justice Department during its inquiry into the 2001 attack on an
American missionary plane by the Peruvian air force with help from a CIA
spotter plane.  That attack killed Veronica Bowers and her infant daughter
Charity.  I hope that you will join the Republicans in supporting congressional
efforts to investigate and to hold the CIA accountable for enabling this deadly
attack on innocent people.
