Please support the full, House version of NSF funding and the full, Senate 
version of NIH funding in the conference version of HR1, the American 
Reinvestment and Recovery Act.  I am a university faculty member and my 
research on autism, which if funded would create a full-time job and would 
support other jobs through purchases of supplies and services, depends 
crucially on the NSF budget.  This project, like many others at NSF and 
NIH with high peer-review scores but no funding, is ready to execute and 
would have economic impact immediately.
