I hope that you'll support House Resolution 554, which would amend the rules of
the House of Representatives to require that legislation and conference reports
be available on the Internet for 72 hours before consideration by the House.
(In an emergency, the requirement could still be suspended by a two-thirds
vote.)  This bill is a step towards a more participatory democracy.
