I urge you to support S.1725, the Retroactive Immunity Repeal Act.  This bill
would revoke the immunity granted by the FISA modernisation legislation to
telecommunications companies that acceded to the Bush government's illegal
wiretapping scheme.  The telecommunications industry needs a strong lesson that
it must not allow illegal surveillance, even when (and in fact especially when)
the impetus for that surveillance comes from the highest levels of government.
