Seven years ago your predecessor in the Massachusetts Senate delegation
co-sponsored the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act.
I hope that you will do the same.  This bill would aid both immigrants and
industry, by permitting people who have resided in the United States since
childhood to remain in the United States and contribute their skills and
energy to United States businesses.  It is a tragedy that hard-working
people who have no memory of any country other than the United States
currently face deportation as illegal aliens.
