Subject: visa for Lee Teng-Hui

I'm disappointed to hear that the State Department has denied a visa for Lee
Teng-Hui, the president of the Republic of China, which would enable him to
visit Cornell University this coming June for an alumni reunion.  I hope that
this decision can be reconsidered.
