Subject: your vote against free expression

I'm extremely disappointed to see that you voted in favour of the
Telecommunications Decency Act, which was attached as an amendment to the
telecommunications reform legislation which is being rushed through Congress.
Censorship is a quick fix, a choice advocated by people who don't understand
the great promise of rapid and accessible communications technology in the
hands of a free people.
