Subject: support HR 1835

I'm concerned about the violation of due process that is legitimized by 
current asset forfeiture principles which are often abused for monetary
gain by institutions of law enforcement.  I urge you to support HR 1835,
the Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act of 1997, as originaly introduced and
without amendment.  Please consider cosponsoring this bill.
