This amendment, section 339 of the bill, would prohibit the federal government from granting highway funds to states that sell driver licence information without the consent of the individuals to whom that information pertains. Congress should not be funding state government schemes that violate individuals' right to privacy. I hope you'll support S. 1143 with section 339 intact.
